Through over 15 years of experience working with high school and college-aged youth, we’ve seen firsthand how learning leadership skills transforms lives.
Life etiquette, on the other hand, encompasses crucial aspects such as manners, respect for oneself and others, responsible social media use, and proper grooming and hygiene. These skills are foundational for young people as they navigate social situations and prepare for the future. When combined with leadership training, life etiquette helps create well-rounded individuals who are prepared to face life’s challenges with grace and confidence.
The Talitha Cumi! Program
The Talitha Cumi! Program integrates leadership, life etiquette, and service learning into a comprehensive series of sessions designed to equip adolescents with the tools they need to succeed. Our methodology is rooted in research and experience, providing a proven approach to teaching leadership skills.
The program begins by establishing a clear definition of leadership. From there, participants engage in individual sessions that cover essential topics such as team building, communication, diversity, and community mapping. The culmination of the program is a community service project, chosen and implemented by the group. This project allows participants to apply what they’ve learned, make a tangible impact in their community, and further develop their leadership abilities.
