Our mission is to educate, empower, and enrich families in discovering their own innate power as they prepare for success.
Our vision is to develop the next generation of young adults to be civically minded, goal-oriented, and culturally responsive to better serve themselves, their families, their community, and the world!
Our purpose is to work in concert with educators, parents, community organizations, state and county agencies, and youth-based organizations in developing strong and capable leaders by infusing the workplace environment with best practices that highlight cultural competence, equity, and respect.
Our flagship program, Talitha Cumi! Daughter Arise!, started as the African American Girls Self Discovery Group in 2007. Today, it continues to lead adolescent girls toward academic success, positive behavior, healthy relationships, and good citizenship.
